DAY ONE 1:  ARRIVAL DAY – WELCOME TO TANZANIA

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (JRO), you will be met your Great view adventure driver guide for your transfer to the hotel, which will take less than one hour. Stay at leisure/conducting town tour/day trip, the choice is yours then resting up for the next day’s adventures.

DAY TWO 2: ARUSHA  to TARANGIRE NATIONAL
 

After settling in, you’ll set out for our first stop: Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you’ll take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with the ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai houses, and cattle being herded by the nomadic people. You’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the Great African Rift Valley then proceed to the Park with your safari guide for a full day game drive. You’ll see first hand all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah. After a picnic lunch, you’ll resume your afternoon game drive where you’ll encounter other animals such as, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, other antelopes species in rich numbers and birds. DAY THREE 3:  TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
 

After fueling up on breakfast, you’ll depart for your full day safari at Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunches in hand. The park is situated inside of the Great Rift Valley with a distinctive evergreen forest that provides suitable habitat for olive baboons, monkeys, big families of elephants, tree climbing lions, leopards and African cape buffalos. Midday you’ll enjoy lunch in the park before setting out for the open woodland areas where you’ll hope to set your sights on giraffes, hippos and flamingos. DAY FOUR 4: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will continue towards the Serengeti, enjoying a lovely scenic drive with views of the Ngorongoro conservation area along the way you’ll pass through a traditional Maasai village where you’ll have the opportunity to experience the culture and lifestyle of its nomadic people. You’ll be welcomed by the Maasai and get an up close look at their handmade houses and unique traditional dances. During the legendary migration periods, the southern plains of the Serengeti are home to approximately 1.7 million wildebeest, more than 800,000 zebras and 200,000 Thomson gazelles. The migration uses the land as a calving ground due to the high calcium and potassium level in the plains, which are essential for milk production. DAY FIVE 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
You have a full day of excursions in the Serengeti today enjoying morning and afternoon game drives from the camp. The center of the Serengeti, called Seronera, is a network of rivers that ensure dependable water supplies attracting wildlife throughout the year. It is here that you’ll have your best opportunity to spot the “Big Five”: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and the leopard.

DAY SIX 6: TODAY YOU WILL LEAVE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING AFTER BREAKFAST TO NGORONGORO  CONSERVATION AREA (CRATER)
 

Today you’ll get up close and personal with one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites – the Ngorongoro conservation area. This unique multi-use site is one of the only in the world where man, livestock and wildlife live together in harmony.
Your journey will continue with an Option of visit to the Olduvai Gorge, known as the cradle of mankind. Considered to be one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world, the gorge is where Dr. Leakey discovered the world’s first humans in the 1950. You’ll descend into the crater for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch midday. Considered the 8th Wonder of the World, the crater is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife. Most commonly seen are big bulls of elephants and the vulnerable species of black rhinos. The crater is also home to big herds of wildebeest and zebras, thomson and grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black backed jackals, and close to 400 species of bird.
