DAY 1: PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT TO KARAMA LODGE

Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha; 55kms/1hr drive
On arrival in Kilimanjaro International airport you will be met by Great
view adventure representative who will transferred you to Arusha town
where you will be shortly briefed about the whole Safari plan by your
Safari Guide. ACCOMMODATION AT KARAMA LODGE – ARUSHA

DAY 2: ARUSHA CITY TO MATERUNI WATERFALL

Sitting at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, spewing crystal clear glacier water from 70m above into its basin, Materuni Waterfall is a magnificent site to visit. The waterfalls is formed 2500m above sea level, you will traverse thru hills covered by tropical rainforest, past coffee, banana farms you will learn a lot about the cultural life of indigenous Chagga tribe. You will have your accommodations back at KARAMA LODGE – ARUSHA

DAY 3: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, our Safari Guide will take you to Arusha National Park, uniquely for its (OPTION) Horseback back riding Safari, the park is a popular destination for Black & White coloubus Monkey, Flamingos, Mt Kilimanjaro spectacular view . It includes Momella Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, varied ecosystems and the spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro’s cousin, Mt. Meru, that gives the region its name. Horseback Safari creates a unique set of the legendary movies “HATARI!” and “Momella – a farm in Africa“, that made the wilderness of Mt. Meru and Arusha Park unique all over the world. After the game drive, you will have accommodations at KARAMA LODGE – ARUSHA

DAY 4: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, our Safari Guide will take you to Tarangire National Park. the park is quiet and lovely. Located in Northern Tanzania It is iconic for its baobab, acacia trees, and elephant migration, with up to 300 herds of elephant, It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside Serengeti. The game concentration is exceptional from July through to October. After a full day game drive, you will have accommodations at OSUPUKO TENTED CAMP

DAY 5: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Early after breakfast, our Safari Guide will take you to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. After arriving at the park, you will have lunch at Tloma Lodge where you will plan your afternoon game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s iconic wildlife areas, consisting of a vast soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), the park attracts a wide variety of animals, including Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, Africa’s largest herds of elephants, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After a memorable game drive, you will have accommodations at EILEENS TREE INN LODGE IN KARATU.

DAY 6: KARATU TO LAKE EYAS

Home to the Hadza “Hadzabe tribe” a.k.a “bushmen”, Lake Eyasi is one of the few places remaining in Africa where tribal life is relatively untouched by modern development. The Hadza people have colonized lake eyas for more than 10,000 years. Hadza still retains their hunting and gathering lifestyle; making them one of the last generations of an ancient African tribal life. A visit to the Hadzabe territories offers an unforgettable glimpse of an ancient culture. During your visit you will have your accommodations back at EILEENS TREE INN LODGE IN KARATU.

DAY 7 & 8: KARATU TO LAKE NATRON

Sits just northeast of the Ngorongoro Crater, the area is hot and often very dry and dusty. It forms a part of Africa’s immense Great Rift Valley. Nestled between the volcanic hills and deep craters, Lake Natron sits at the lowest point of the great rift valley – 600m above sea level – and is probably the world’s most alkaline body of water.

The area around Lake Natron is home to some wildlife, you might see the occasional giraffe or zebra – but this is not the main reason for safari. Instead, we will visit this area for its remoteness, scenery and for an interesting route to Loliondo summit “the mountain of god”.

We will spend two days safari exploring some of Lake Eyasi mysteries including the unique ecosystem of Cyanobacteria – a salt-loving micro-organism that creates their own food through photosynthesis. During the two days, you will have your accommodations at LENGAI SAFARI LODGE

DAY 9 & 10: LAKE NATRON TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After your Breakfast, you will begin your 9th and 10th day safaris to Africa’s Best Safari park, Serengeti. You will spend three days exploring the wonders of “the endless plains”. Serengeti is the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. Covering 5,700 sq miles, (14,763 sq km), it’s twice larger than Singapore, with at most a couple of hundred vehicles driving around. Its unique ecosystem has inspired world-renowned writers from Peter Matthiessen, Ernest Hemingway, filmmakers like Alan Root and as well as numerous scientists and photographers. Its ecosystem is one of the oldest on the planet, home to the Early man who appeared in Olduvai Gorge about two million years ago. The patterns of life, death, evolution, adaptation, and migration are as old as the hills themselves. Hosting the exodus of over a million wildebeest and around 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, its the greatest wild migration earth. During your three days of exploration, you will cover Central Serengeti, Kogatende and Northern Serengeti. you will have your accommodations at TANZANIA BUSH CAMP.

DAY 11 : SERENGETI N PARK TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA.

After breakfast at Tanzania Bush Camp, our Safari Diver will take you to Ngorongoro about 2 h 3 min (113.0 km) driving. The crater is 610 meters (2,000 feet) deep and covers 260 square kilometers (100 square miles). the floor of an ancient caldera it’s breathtaking. Nicknamed “Africa’s Garden of Eden” The crater has forged its own unique ecosystem due to its enclosed nature. It is the one place where you can certainly tick all the boxes, its awe-inspiring scenery, plentiful wildlife and it’s also the home to critically endangered rhinos. During your time at Ngorongoro, you will have your accommodations at NGORONGORO RHINO LODGE.

DAY 12: NGORONGORO TO JRO AIRPORT

12th day will mark the end of our amazing safari with you, Our driver will take you back to the Airport for your flight home.
